I made a mistake...

Have you ever picked up the wrong product and happily applied it and then...

Mistake number one!



This one stung... I had just shaved my legs and was happily applying oil to my fresh pins and... yeah... I howled. Don't mistake Baby Oil for black head oil!!

Mistake number two!



Picking up my brightening eye cream in the morning to try and help my poor peepers appear more awake... or so I thought. Yes, I had actually picked up the Rimmel Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch. No wonder my eyes looked brighter...

Mistake number three!



I sprayed a moisturizer under my arms instead of my deodorant. It was wet.

Have you ever picked up the wrong product by accident? I really need to pay more attention!

Have You Met Miss Manga?

Loreal Miss Manga mascara was released in April 2014 and for some reason, I didn't go straight to the drugstore and pick up a tube.

There have been some seriously good mascaras recently and I have been happily making my way through various brands and formulas...

The Miss Manga mascara promises to give mega volume on top and bottom lashes, with ultimate hold. This year I have been enjoyed more lengthening formulas because my lashes are short and stubby and ridiculous, so a "mega" volume formula didn't fit in to my plans!

                                       
But then.. I had seen so many reviews on You Tube about Miss Manga, and I was intrigued. The brush is not a consistently shaped brush, it has longer and shorter bristles in what looks like a random fashion. The point of this is to cover the lashes all over and to make sure no part of the lash is missed.                                    



The first time I tried Miss Manga I was amazed, I admit I was worried that I would end up with about five lashes and no length, but it was actually very easy to control the brush and create length along with the volume, which is actually really well balanced between lashes! The pointed brush is great for getting in to the corners of your eyes to get those tricky little lashes that like to try and escape...!

                                          
It really is an amazing mascara, my top favourite mascaras are Loreal at the minute, they really are getting the job done!!

Pink Parcel Review!

 Lets talk about periods... Sort of!

Last month I saw an advert on Facebook for a company called Pink Parcel, and thinking it sounded cute, I went to investigate!

The concept of Pink Parcel, is a subscription box that is sent to you around the time of your period. It will contain feminine hygiene products (from the brand of your choice) and some treats for you, to make that time of the month a little better.

Well I feel I can safely say it will make it A LOT better!

I decided to subscribe to see what it would be like, and you actually get your first box for half price (£5, yay!) Lets take a look shall we?!


When you open the box you will find two long boxes, one larger box and a bag. The two small, longer boxes and the bag contain your hygiene products, all ready to go...


In the larger box, things start to get very exciting.

In my box I received a 60ml bottle of bio oil, which is for use on scars, stretch marks, dehydrated skin and uneven skin tone. I got a 50ml tube of beautiful Soleil Protexion, Velvet Moisture SPF 50 fluid from Roc, I also received a tube of the Sun Lipstick with SPF 30 and vitamin E from Roc - a matching pair for your facial sun protection!

Then I found a bottle of Binky London nail polish, I got a pretty bright pink shade with a slight shimmer running through it. I did a quick swatch on my nail of this and ended up painting both my hands. Amazing formula, only one coat was needed.. now that's what I'm talking about!

As if they weren't already enough, you also receive a packet of Teapigs tea leaves every month and a tasty treat.. this month I got a peppermint packet of tea (which my cat Muffin loved...) and a gorgeous bar of organic dark chocolate with maca, vanilla and cacao nibs from Doisy & Dam.

So not only do I have all my luxurious treats I also have the products I need at this time, and some yummy things to boot. I mean, is this not genius?!

I LOVE this box and I am completely thrilled with the treats included, I never thought I would say this but... I can't wait until my next period!!
